"Future Proof" UDIAWA State Conference
This year’s UDIAWA state conference themed “Future Proof” saw Toby Taylor, Adam Miles, Patrick O’Reilly, Andrew Bland, Alana Montague and Fiona Wood represent Georgiou in what was a dynamic, interactive and informative networking experience at the Quay West Resort Bunker Bay.

The evening of Day 1 was a night of networking and getting to know the conference crowd. For some, it was an event of catching up with old industry friends, whilst for others tended to be a great way to meet what are WA’s faces of the urban development industry.
Day 2: Thursday 23 October saw Georgiou host the morning session of the State Conference where keynote speakers Alana Montague and Toby Taylor introduced the Georgiou Group and presented the benefits of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) projects.
Toby’s project, The Workshops: Midland Redevelopment which effectively employed the ECI process was the case study of the presentation and demonstrated Georgiou to be an innovative business, adopting new ways of embracing the evolving WA market. ECI being quite a new model of contract procurement was only known by two members of the audience, hence drew some strong attention to what Georgiou had to say and contribute to the focus of “Future Proof”.
Georgiou's sponsorship of Day 2 was well spent, allowing futurist and strategist Dr Peter Ellyard to travel from Melbourne to Perth and enlighten all with his specialist views on how to prepare and shape our behaviours into the year 2050.
Thank you to UDIAWA personnel for coordinating yet another successful event.
