Georgiou views the development of young people and the up-skilling of existing workers through traineeships and apprenticeships as key methods in establishing a pipeline of talented and career-minded people. Trainees and apprentices are assessed to national standards that set benchmarks for the quality of work they produce.

The Georgiou Traineeship Program is designed to provide participants with an environment in which to learn while completing paid work.  The training is designed to provide competencies in a wide range of skills while assisting trainees in understanding new technologies and how they can be applied to the civil engineering and urban development markets.

Successful trainees can expect employment within the Georgiou for a variety of positions including Leading Hand, Project Supervisor, Assistant Surveyor, Project Co-ordinator and Project Engineer with further studies.
