In 2007, Georgiou was contracted to manufacture precast concrete segments for the Blue Water Project, a joint venture of John Holland and
Veolia Water, who had been awarded the design and construction of the desalination plant in Sydney.
In 2014, Georgiou delivered a Type 180 Pump Station for Tenix SDR in South Hedland, WA. Scope of work involved the manufacture of a 20 piece wastewater pump station, weighing 864 tonnes. Some 8-metres in length, the pump station took six weeks to manufacture and was
delivered on time and budget.
The Telegraph Road Upgrade Stage 1B project involves the widening of Telegraph Road from two to four lanes (between Norris Road and Mustang Street) with a centre median and provision for on-road cycle lanes in each direction.
In November 2016, Georgiou’s Infrastructure unit was awarded the preliminary earthworks package for the Tianqi Lithium project in Kwinana WA, alongside Georgiou’s Building unit who were awarded both the ECI and D&C packages for the site.
