Our Ratings

Every building has an impact on the environment. Buildings use 40% of the world’s energy, emit 40% of the world’s carbon emissions, and use 20% of the world’s available drinking water.

In order to build a more sustainable industry, Georgiou is committed to delivering highly-rated Green Star and NABERS projects.

Armadale City Council

Green Star is an internationally recognised sustainability rating system which assesses and rates buildings, fitouts and communities against a range of environmental impact categories. Projects can be rated from 1 – 6 stars, with 1 achieving Minimum Practice and 6 achieving World Leadership.

Our most notable Green Star projects are:

NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) is used to measure a building’s energy efficiency, carbon emissions, as well as the water consumed, the waste produced and compare it to similar buildings. Projects can be rated from 1 – 6 stars, with 1 achieving Poor Performance and 6 achieving Market Leadership.

Our most notable NABERS rated projects are:

  • Armadale City Council – 5 Star NABERS Energy (Base Building), 5.5 Star NABERS Energy Water (Base Building)
  • Prime House – 6 Star NABERS Energy (Base Building), 3 Star NABERS Energy Water (Base Building)
