The result reflects the successful execution of Georgiou’s National Growth Strategy, with recent project wins in Queensland and sustained strong performance in Western Australia offsetting softer conditions in New South Wales. Since the end of the financial year, order backlog including preferred projects has increased to $2.2B. The business continues to be underpinned by long-standing client relationships, a disciplined approach to project delivery, and the capability of its people.

The Georgiou Group result sits alongside another reporting milestone released this week: the global financial results of STRABAG SE.

STRABAG SE 2025 FINANCIAL RESULTS

STRABAG SE, one of Europe’s largest construction groups and Georgiou Group’s parent company, delivered another resilient set of global results for the 2025 reporting period:

  • Output up 6%, exceeds € 20 billion for first time
  • Order backlog expanded by 24% to over € 31 billion

These results were driven by a disciplined approach to growth, strong governance, and continued investment in people, innovation, and sustainability across STRABAG’s international operations — reinforcing the scale, capability, and ambition the group brings to the Australian market.

Herbert Krutina, Managing Director – STRABAG Australia, said this reporting milestone reflected the strength of the combined business.

“I have been privileged to lead the integration and alignment between Georgiou and STRABAG over the past twelve months alongside Gary Georgiou,” Mr Krutina said.

“The latest financial results for both Georgiou Group and STRABAG SE reflect not only strong performance, but the commitment of our people within Georgiou Group in embracing STRABAG and continuing to deliver strong outcomes for our clients. Our first STRABAG project is underway delivering the Belmont Desalination Pipeline Project, utilising STRABAG micro-tunnelling expertise alongside the local systems and civil expertise of Georgiou Group.
