The Alkimos Pipeline Alliance Bid Team, comprising Georgiou Group and DM Civil, with support from GHD, were awarded Bid Team of the Year for their collaborative approach and innovative methodology in tendering for the Alkimos to Wanneroo Desalination Pipeline Project.

Alliance Manager Dene Hyde said he couldn’t be prouder of the team.

“The Alliance worked extremely hard to win this project, going above and beyond to collaboratively deliver a tender that met the client’s needs while delivering value that went beyond the client’s expectations. I’m proud of the team, and this award recognises everyone’s hard work and dedication to the project.”

Our Learning and Development Team were awarded Training Employer of the Year for their dedication to growing our team’s training and development pathways.

Learning & Indigenous Engagement Manager Jason Stern said this was a fantastic achievement for the team and very well deserved.

“This is the eighth time in the last 10 years that Georgiou has been awarded the Training Employer of the Year Award at the CCF WA Civil Construction Industry & Training Awards. This demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to continued improvement of our training initiatives for all our employees, whether emerging or established. I could not be prouder of the team and all their hard work.”

Congratulations to our individual winners, including Kristyn Roberts, who was awarded Training Professional of the Year; Brandon Cook, who was awarded Apprentice of the Year; Nick Brugman for winning Engineer of the Year and Cordell Green for winning Aboriginal Apprentice or Trainee of the Year (as part of the Fitzroy Bridge Alliance including Georgiou, BMD and BG&E)!

Congratulations also to all our nominees – we couldn’t be prouder! We also congratulate all the winners and nominees on the night for their ongoing contribution to the industry.
