The seven-storey development will provide approximately 80 residential aged care places within a contemporary facility designed to support resident wellbeing, comfort and quality of life.
The project has been carefully planned to create a welcoming environment that combines high-quality accommodation with communal living, activity and care spaces. Residents will benefit from purpose-designed areas that encourage connection, independence and engagement, while dedicated support facilities will enable the delivery of high-quality care.
The development will include accommodation rooms, communal lounges, activity spaces, administration areas, a commercial kitchen and dining facilities, landscaped outdoor environments and supporting back-of-house services.
Georgiou General Manager – Building, Steve O’Kill, said the project represents an important investment in community infrastructure and aged care services.
“Georgiou is proud to partner with St Bart’s to deliver a modern residential aged care facility that will provide a safe, welcoming and supportive home for residents while helping meet the growing demand for quality aged care accommodation in Western Australia,” Mr O’Kill said.
Construction is scheduled to commence shortly, with the completed facility set to provide contemporary aged care services designed to support the health, wellbeing and independence of future residents.
As Australia’s population continues to age, projects such as the St Bart’s Residential Aged Care Facility play a critical role in providing modern, purpose-built accommodation and care environments that support individuals, families and the broader community.
