Part of the broader upgrade to the historic 566km pipeline from Mundaring Weir to the Goldfields, the works will help future-proof a network that has supported the region for more than 120 years.
Georgiou will deliver around 30km of new DN900 and DN1000 pipeline, replacing ageing DN750 MSCL infrastructure, along with associated fittings, valves, cathodic protection and live network connections.
Located across WA’s eastern Wheatbelt, the project will be carefully staged to maintain supply. Critical tie-ins will be completed during planned shutdowns to minimise disruption to communities and industry.
The upgrade will support growing demand across the region, underpinning population growth, mining and agriculture throughout the Goldfields.
General Manager – Infrastructure, Tony Ricciardello, said the award reflects Georgiou’s strength in delivering complex regional infrastructure.

“We understand how critical this pipeline is. Our focus is on getting the job done safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption.”
With strong experience in pipeline delivery, the team will work closely with landowners and local communities, keeping safety, sustainability and collaboration front of mind.
