Despite the added challenge of the impacts of Cyclone Alfred, the team completed the complex lift last month, placing a total of 18 Super T girders over 2 nights and 1 day. Careful coordination, technical expertise and detailed planning were key to delivering the works safely and efficiently with minimal disruption to surrounding infrastructure.
“The team completed the works ahead of schedule during the closures through meticulous planning and execution of the works. The level of professionalism and focus from all in the led up to, and during the closures ensured the works ran incident free and key stakeholders where not disrupted from the scheduled works” said Tristan Ogden, Project Manager.
