Located on Kensington Street, the eight-storey development will deliver 56 self-contained one-bedroom apartments designed to provide safe, secure and affordable long-term accommodation for residents.

The project has been designed to support independent living while fostering a connected and inclusive community environment. In addition to modern residential apartments, the development will include community spaces, shared amenities and landscaped external areas that encourage resident engagement and wellbeing.

The ground floor will incorporate office facilities, community areas and shared common spaces, with levels one to seven accommodating the residential apartments. Associated civil works, landscaping, external services and supporting infrastructure will complete the development.

The project forms part of ongoing efforts to increase the availability of affordable and sustainable housing within metropolitan Perth, helping address growing community housing demand while creating positive social outcomes for future residents.

Steve O’Kill, General Manager – Building, said the project reflects Georgiou’s commitment to delivering infrastructure that creates lasting benefits for communities.

“Georgiou is proud to partner with St Bart’s to deliver quality social housing that will provide residents with safe, secure and sustainable accommodation while fostering a sense of belonging and community connection,” Mr O’Kill said.

Construction commenced in June 2026 and is expected to be completed in September 2027.

Upon completion, the development will provide contemporary housing that supports long-term independence, stability and wellbeing for residents, while contributing to a more inclusive and resilient community.
