Our Aubin Grove Train Station and Russell Road Upgrade projects in WA have been shortlisted by The Australian Constructors Association (ACA), together with Engineers Australia, to compete for the 2017 Australian Construction Achievement Award (ACAA).

Aubin Grove will battle it out with Lendlease, Multiplex Constructions, McConnell Dowell Constructors, Mirvac Group and Grocon PCL JV for the coveted award.

Executive General Manager John Galvin said it was an honour to be shortlisted for the award.

“The ACAA is the award every construction company wants in their cabinet. It sees the nation’s best construction companies vying for the most iconic award in our industry and highlights the innovation and project skills of each organisation,” Mr Galvin said.

“For Georgiou, this project has been a great example of teamwork, excellence in innovation and our ability to work closely with our client to achieve great outcomes.”

ACA’s Executive Director Lindsay Le Compte said the combined value of the projects exceeds $3 billion.

“The projects, together with the construction workers, architectural and engineering people behind them, have delivered world class construction outcomes and solutions for their clients. The breadth of skills and innovation involved in these projects showcases the capacity of the industry and its ability to adapt to differing client requirements,” Mr Le Compte said.
