Georgiou has been awarded national property fund manager Primewest’s new multi-storey office development, valued at circa $31 million.

Located in Joondalup Western Australia, the eight-storey A Grade office development will be tenanted by the State Government and has been designed to achieve 5 Star Greenstar As Built and 4.5 NABERS rating.

Georgiou Group’s Chief Executive Officer John Georgiou said innovation was the key to securing this coveted project.

“In order to convert this tender our team focused on value engineering and utilising innovative materials and methodologies to provide significant cost savings for our client,” he said.

The latest award adds to a long list of landmark commercial projects built by Georgiou such as Curtin University’s new medical teaching facility, the Armadale City Council Office Development in Perth’s South and the Tassels Place Office Development in Stirling.

“Since 2006, we’ve worked hard to build a reputation as a quality builder of commercial developments with the majority of our past projects tenanted by the State Government,” said Mr Georgiou.

Primewest Director David Schwatrz said the new building, Prime House, would be a landmark location in Joondalup and set a new benchmark for quality and sustainability in the area.

He said the company was delighted to be working alongside Georgiou on such an innovative and exciting project.

The building will form part of Primewest’s expansive $2 billion national property portfolio that covers all sectors of the property market. The Primewest project will see Georgiou provide a significant number of local jobs and is set for completion in early 2018.
