MONA VALE ROAD UPGRADE AWARDED TO GEORGIOU

Georgiou has secured the Mona Vale Road Upgrade for Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).

The project involves the upgrade and widening of 3.2 kilometres of Mona Vale Road between Manor Road, Ingleside and Foley St, Mona Vale, in the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

“Our experienced team is excited to deliver this vital piece of infrastructure to Sydney’s northern suburbs and we look forward to again working with Roads and Maritime to leave a legacy behind that we can all be proud of,” said CEO Rob Monaci.

The Mona Vale Road upgrade will involve building additional climbing and descending lanes to improve travel times and include the upgrade of the Mona Vale Road/Ponderosa Parade roundabout to a signalised intersection.

Construction will commence in February 2019 with expected completion in 2023, weather permitting.

The Group currently has circa $700 million work-in-hand and is on track for its most successful year to date.
