Georgiou has taken home Training Employer of the Year for the second consecutive year at the 2017 CCF Industry and Training WA Awards, held at the Crown Perth on Friday night.

The Training Employer Award, which Georgiou won in 2012 and 2015, is a hotly contested award and, as the only company to win consecutively, firmly establishes Georgiou as a leader in professional development.

To add to the celebrations, Project Manager Toby Taylor took home the Project Manager Award hot off the heels of Jason Fletcher’s win last year. The Project Manager Award honours an exceptional person, still relatively early in their career, who through their commitment to the civil sector has demonstrated the potential to be a future industry leader.

Congratulations to the winners and also to our finalists who were up for individual Trainee of the Year Awards however were unfortunately this year pipped at the post – Head Drainer Paul Argiropoulos (Cert III), Head Drainer Brenton Clements (Cert III), Excavator Operator Michael Crump (Cert IV) and Head Drainer Shaun McGlenchy (Cert IV).
