GEORGIOU PARKS NEXT TO THE BEST IN THE INDUSTRY

Georgiou, together with our client the City of Joondalup, has been awarded the Outstanding New Car Park Development Award for our Boas Avenue Car Park Project at the recent 2016 Parking Australia Awards.

The awards celebrate the achievements of individuals, teams and organisations for innovation, excellence and outstanding facilities through the parking sector.

General Manager Building Frank Dilizia said the award was a great way to recognise all the hard work Georgiou had put into the project, delivering the project on time and to a high standard of workmanship.

“The nomination was put forward by the City of Joondalup who felt the car park was one of the best new parking facilities in Australia. Throughout this project, we worked closely with the client to value-engineer the design and provide cost savings,” he explained.

The $14 million project was completed in September 2015 and consisted of the 28 private bays of the lower carpark and five levels of public parking, totalling 560 bays.
