Georgiou Group has been appointed to construct a $17 million commercial office building in Bunbury, WA, on behalf of real estate fund manager Primewest.

Located at Lot 20 (22) Stephen Street in Bunbury WA, the 4,500sqm four storey, A-grade office building, designed by Cox Architecture, will be 100% leased to the Federal Government’s Services Australia (formerly the Department of Human Services).

The Primewest Bunbury office building features large 1,200sqm floor plates, state-of-the-art end-of-trip facilities and aims to incorporate sustainable features to achieve a 4.5-star NABERS rating and a 4-star Green Star rating.

Georgiou Building General Manager Steve Okill said the team was looking forward to delivering its first building project in WA’s South West with a repeat client.

“In 2018, we constructed Prime House in Joondalup on behalf of Primewest and our team is excited to again work alongside Primewest to deliver a sustainable, high-quality office within Bunbury’s business district,” he said.

“We have a strong, open working relationship with Primewest and this partnership allows us to draw on our extensive experience to deliver a high-quality commercial office for Services Australia in the heart of Bunbury.”

During the delivery, Georgiou aims to maximise the contribution of local subcontractors and suppliers.

Construction has commenced and completion is anticipated in 2022.

Recently, Primewest merged with the ASX 200 listed Australian real estate fund manager, Centuria Capital Group.
