Georgiou has solidified its position as a premier training organisation, winning three from five awards at the 2016 CCF WA President’s Awards in Perth on the weekend.

A huge congratulations to Foreman Clifford Dawson who took home the Certificate IV Trainee Award, Operations Manager Jason Fletcher who won the Future Leader Award and to Georgiou’s Learning and Development Team who secured the Training Employer of the Year Award.

A big congratulations must also go to Foreman Aaron Shapkaris who was up against some strong competition in the Certificate IV Trainee Award category and unfortunately was pipped at the post by our own, Clifford. Additionally, Briety again took out the Best Indigenous Organisation – however with Georgiou’s 2016-2018 RAP soon to be launched, we are confident we can give them some strong competition in 2017.

Finally, big kudos to our internal Learning and Development Team and our Infrastructure WA team who worked with our nominees to develop the high-level submissions and see Georgiou as a serious contender in the professional development and training space.
