Project Introduction

Georgiou has delivered the Brightwater Inglewood Development for client, Brightwater Care Group – the company’s first aged care project.

Georgiou has delivered Brightwater Care Group’s new Inglewood Development, which combines Brightwater’s corporate head office with its residential aged care facility and industry leading research centre.

Brightwater Inglewood is a 1.51-hectare site within the established suburb of Inglewood. It is adjacent to the Mount Lawley Golf Club, located at the intersection of Walter and Dundas Road and shares a boundary with the existing 1.61-hectare Brightwater ‘The Village’ dementia-specific site to the North.

The vibrant intergenerational community not only recognises the individuality of each resident, but also embraces the many benefits of shared link spaces, communal facilities, and the unique natural surroundings of Inglewood.

Valued at $40 million, the project involved the construction of a new three level building, 128 bed residential aged care (RAC) facility and 150-person corporate head office which will combine with the RAC facility and an industry leading research centre.

Georgiou, alongside Georgiou Developments, worked closely with our client and the design team in an early contractor involvement model, to help determine the most cost-effective design solutions to meet our client’s functional and operational needs.
