Project Introduction
Georgiou delivered the critical Fitzroy River Bridge project in Western Australia’s Kimberley Region, in an alliance with BMD Group, BG&E and Main Roads.
The Fitzroy River Bridge, in addition to 500 metres of road, was significantly damaged following historical flooding through the Kimberley Region early in 2023. Construction of the new bridge was completed in December 2023, six months ahead of schedule – reconnecting Western Australia’s Kimberley region in addition to driving significant investment in the local economy.
