The Georgiou WA Office Fitout and Extension was completed in 2012 and involved fitout of the existing premises and extension of the warehouse.

In July 2009, Georgiou Capital successfully negotiated the acquisition of the old Canon head office complex in Osborne Park and commenced design development to refurbish and convert the premises into the long-awaited Georgiou WA Office.

In April 2012, Georgiou then acquired the warehouse to the rear of the property, converting the property into a quality office space and Case Study and Collaboration Centre. Works for the Georgiou Office Fitout and Extension included re-roofing to comply with BCA requirements, upgrade of electrical infrastructure, installation of new windows, construction of solid/glazed internal partitions, complete office fitout and furniture package, and all mechanical and hydraulic works to suit the new conversion.

The works comprised the complete removal and replacement of all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, lift, ceilings, toilets, floor coverings and office partitions. The office fitout, installation of workstations, joinery, furniture, state-of-the-art video and teleconferencing facilities and communications were integrated with the construction work to achieve time and cost savings.

Georgiou completed the Georgiou Office Fitout and Extension as part of a fast track construction methodology – completing the works in three months. Additionally, Georgiou worked closely with the designers to value manage the design and provide buildability advice to achieve the most cost-and time effective design solution.

All works were carried out in a live working environment with minimal disruption to existing adjoining operations.
