Georgiou, Daracon and SMEC in an alliance contract are delivering the Hexham Straight Widening project for repeat client, Transport for NSW.
The Australian and NSW Governments are investing in the widening and upgrade of the section of Maitland Road between Newcastle Inner City Bypass and Hexham Bridge known as ‘Hexham Straight’.
The six kilometre-long project will improve traffic flow for the 50,000 motorists using this section of the highway daily, deliver more reliable travel times for freight, and increase safety for all road users.
