Project Introduction

Georgiou is delivering the $50 million contract as part of Perron Group’s $100 million investment in the new Toyota WA Distribution Centre in Kewdale, Western Australia.

The new facility will improve safety and efficiency and increase capacity to handle more parts and accessories – servicing a network of 36 Toyota dealership sites across the state. Works are expected to be complete in 2024.

Scope of work

The project scope includes:

  • Design and construction of a new state-of-the-art 20,000 square metre five star Green Star and five star NABERS Energy rated distribution centre
  • Installation of a cutting-edge Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) supplied by Toyota Industries Corporation wholly owned subsidiary, Vanderlande. This is the first of its kind in the southern hemisphere – making it one of the most technologically advanced vehicle parts distribution centres in Australia.
