COOMERA CONNECTOR STAGE 1 NORTH

Georgiou Group, in 40:60 joint venture with Acciona, is delivering the Coomera Connector Stage1 North package for repeat client, Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.

The project scope of works includes:

• A 4-lane, median divided arterial road between Chainage 29600 and Chainage 32900 with future widening to 6-lanes into the median, including ramp connections to Shipper Drive and Helensvale Road
• A 6-lane, median divided bridges, including a grade separated shared path facility
• Upgrades to Helensvale Rd and Shipper Drive (note: subject to TMR incorporation of Pre-Agreed Scope Change) 
• Adjustments and connections to City of Gold Coast and DTMR Controlled roads
• Facilities for pedestrians, cyclists, persons with a disability, and other vulnerable road users 
• Modifications and adjustments to existing infrastructure including service infrastructure within the Queensland Rail Corridor, to maintain access and function of the rail
