GEORGIOU ANNOUNCES NEW GENERAL MANAGER

National building and civil construction company Georgiou Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Tony Ricciardello as General Manager – Operations for their WA infrastructure business.

Effective 1 September, Tony will work alongside Executive General Manager Steve Tennant as the company builds on their 45 years’ experience in the infrastructure sector in WA.

Tony joined Georgiou in 2000 as a student engineer and, over 22 years, has worked his way through the business delivering multiple land development and redevelopment projects such as Ellenbrook Estate, Subiaco Redevelopment, Elizabeth Quay Forward Works and Scarborough Redevelopment, before taking on senior roles such as Construction Manager and Operations Manager.

Chief Executive Officer Gary Georgiou said Tony will bring his intimate knowledge of the WA infrastructure sector, project delivery capability, pre-contracts knowledge and strong industry relationships to the role.

“Second to Steve Tennant, nobody knows our WA infrastructure business like Tony. He has been mentored by some of the industry’s greats and throughout his career has experienced every stage of project delivery for Georgiou,” he explains.

“This new role is an opportunity for Tony to lead the next period of growth, while continuing to build on our strong relationships with clients and exploring new areas of opportunity for both the WA business and the company as a whole.”

Tony’s promotion comes just one month after Georgiou announced the appointment of two new General Managers in their NSW and Qld businesses.
