Georgiou Group has secured the $94 million dollar Moorebank Logistics Park West (MPW) project for Qube in NSW.

The Moorebank project, set to become Australia’s largest freight infrastructure project, will link Port Botany direct to rail terminals and warehousing on a 243 hectare site.

Georgiou will deliver all civil and infrastructure works required for MPW including clearing, bulk earthworks, earth retaining structures, stormwater and drainage, access roads.

Chief Executive Officer Rob Monaci said the project award is indicative of the company’s growth on the east coast and national capability.

“Having delivered large freight terminal projects across Western Australia and Queensland, our experienced team looks forward to building on this capability in New South Wales,” he explained.

“Qube is a new client for Georgiou Group so this project will allow us to not only demonstrate our expertise but build on our reputation of being the best people to work with.”

The project, which will see 60 personnel at peak, will commence immediately with the project set for completion in April 2021.
