GEORGIOU GROUP SECURES CONTRACT FOR OCEAN REEF MARINA DEVELOPMENT

Georgiou Group is set to play a pivotal role in the transformation of Western Australia’s coastal landscape with the recent award of the $107 million contract for the next major stage of the Ocean Reef Marina Development.

Commissioned by DevelopmentWA, the scope of works involves the construction of public infrastructure including boat ramps, marine walls and recreational spaces such as a skatepark, playground and picnic facilities. Additionally, the development will include lots for residential, retail and hospitality purposes.

Infrastructure General Manager Tony Ricciardello said, “Georgiou brings a wealth of experience in delivering marine infrastructure projects across the nation, with key projects including Mandurah Ocean Marina, Dampier Fuel Wharf, Botanic Gardens Riverwalk and Garden Island Wharf Construction.”

“We are thrilled to not only contribute to a project that will become an iconic new coastal destination in WA but one that represents the largest civil construction landscaping program undertaken by our valued client, DevelopmentWA.”

Construction on the Marina will commence in April with project completion anticipated at the beginning of 2026.
