GEORGIOU GROUP TO DELIVER SIXTH STAGE OF THE RAAFA STIRLING RETIREMENT APARTMENTS

Georgiou has been appointed to deliver the Stirling Retirement Apartments for the Air Force Association of WA (trading as RAAFA).

The sixth stage of development at their Bull Creek facility, the scope of works includes the construction of a six-storey development featuring 63 apartments, a basement carpark of 75 car bays, bicycle and gopher parking, and a communal recreation facility.

Named in honour of the Short Stirling heavy bomber used in WWII, the Stirling Retirement Apartments are part of RAAFA’s expansion of the Air Force Memorial Estate in Bull Creek.

Georgiou Group General Manager Steve Okill commented, “We are delighted to be working with RAAFA to deliver this new facility which on completion will allow them to continue to support their members and veterans at a time they most need care.

“Since our initial engagement it was clear to us that close collaboration with RAAFA and its trusted consultants would be required to ensure our efforts aligned with their vision. We’re excited to continue this journey together and further strengthen our relationship as we bring the project to life.”

Construction officially commenced following a Welcome to Country and sod turning ceremony this week, with completion expected in mid-2025.
