GEORGIOU REACHES COMPLETION ON M1 UPGRADE

Georgiou Group has successfully delivered the Pacific Motorway early works, as part of Stage 2 – Pacific Motorway (M1): Eight Mile Plains to Daisy Hill (EMP2DH) upgrade in Queensland for repeat client, Department of Transport and Main Roads.

Scope of works includes the realignment and widening of a section of the Pacific Highway (western service road) to allow future widening of the M1, construction of a shared path, relocation of public utility services, accommodation works and stormwater drainage.

The project demonstrates Georgiou’s ability to deliver complex works with operations conducted in constrained environments and specialised techniques including pipe jacking.

Works are conducive with future construction set to increase capacity along the M1.
