Georgiou has continued to deliver on its RAP commitments with their Leach Welshpool Alliance (LWA) commissioning local Indigenous artist Justin Martin for their latest project.

The LWA team engaged Local Aboriginal artist Justin Martin and students from Queens Park Primary School (QPPS) to collaborate on a mural which has been painted onto a sea container for passing motorists to enjoy.

Developed over several months, the mural tells the story of the Aboriginal Six Seasons.

“This sea container represents a lot for the project,” said Alliance Director Will Telfer.

“Not only does it provide positive community engagement with the school, it showcases local content, and our connection and commitment to the area we are operating in. Both our team and the passing motorists can see what Georgiou and the alliance are all about.”

The sea container will be displayed on site for the duration of the project and donated back to Queens Park Primary School upon project completion. The project is being delivered in partnership with Main Roads Western Australia, BG&E and Golder Associates.
