KING GEORGES ROAD UPGRADE

Georgiou Group is delivering the $66 million contract to improve King Georges Road for repeat client, Transport for New South Wales.

The scope of work involves widening King Georges Road between Stoney Creek Road at Beverly Hills, and Forest Road at Hurstville, to create three lanes in each direction, along with a dedicated right turn lane on King Georges Road southbound.

The project will ease congestion, increase safety and improve travel times on King Georges Road, between Beverly Hills and Hurstville, as motorists currently experience significant delays and congestion, particularly during weekday peak periods.

Construction on the project will see 80 personnel at peak with an expected completion of 2024. Visit TfNSW’s project page for more information.
