In June 2014, Georgiou delivered the South Hedland Pump Station for client Tenix SDR.

Scope of works for the South Hedland Pump Station involved the manufacture of a 20-piece Type 180 wastewater pump station, weighing 684 tonnes. Some eight metres in length, the pump station took six weeks to manufacture and was delivered on time and budget.

Georgiou secured this project by offering an innovative solution to the Client that was safer, more cost competitive and shorter in construction duration. In securing this project, Georgiou now has in-house capability to construct precast Type 40, 90, 180 and 350 pump stations.
