Georgiou was awarded the $25 million contract to work on Sydney Metro Northwest project in NSW in October 2018.
As Managing Contractor, Georgiou was responsible for the design and construction of the finishing and ancillary works package which includes road and building construction, pedestrian and cycling bridges, service relocation, demolition and landscaping.
The $8.3 billion Sydney Metro Northwest opened in May 2019 and is the first fully-automated metro rail system in Australia.
