Georgiou was awarded a design and construct contract to build the Toll Warehouse Extension for Toll Express to meet growing demands at Perth Airport in November 2015.

The facility comprised of:

  • an additional 20,520m2 of covered warehouse including awnings with pallet goods storage, hardstand and breezeway/drive-thru including a dangerous goods stores and warehouse office, lunchroom and driver’s room;
  • sealed trailer hardstand of 23,446m2 and unsealed trailer hardstand of 13,987m2;
  • construction of Level 1 Administration Office internally in existing warehouse;
  • installation of LPG gas tanks, swale/retention basin, security fencing, canopies and new exit gates; and
  • all landscaping.

The Toll Warehouse Extension, completed in June 2015, enabled the client to use the new facility for 24/7 freight distribution, and loading/unloading operations.
