Georgiou Group recently marked the commencement of construction at their Australian Marine Complex (AMC) Vessel Transfer Path Upgrade project with a smoking ceremony followed by a visit from WA Premier Mark McGowan, Defence Industry Minister Paul Papalia and Cockburn MLA-elect David Scaife.
Being delivered for client Development WA, the project is the first of four major infrastructure projects at AMC, which together are worth $87.6 million and expected to create almost 600 local jobs.
The project, which is expected to be complete mid-2021, will create greater connectivity across the AMC, between the floating dock and shipbuilding and sustainment facilities.
