GEORGIOU TO COMPLETE TABULAM BRIDGE

Georgiou is currently delivering a works package on Tabulam Bridge for Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).

The project involves roadworks, bridgeworks and associated activities for the realignment of an 830 metre-long section of the Bruxner Highway at Tabulam from east of the Clarence River to just east of the existing Overflow Bridge west of the Clarence River.

Work over the coming months will include the completion of piling and pier construction ahead of setting up for girder installation followed by deck pours.

Set for completion in mid-2020, weather permitting, the new bridge will replace the existing State heritage-listed Bruxner Highway Bridge over the Clarence River.
