Project Introduction
Georgiou completed the $32 million Prime House Office development in May 2018.
Located in the heart of Joondalup WA, the eight-storey, A-grade office development was designed to achieve a five-star Green Star rating and a 4.5 NABERs rating and is the largest office development ever undertaken in the City of Joondalup.
Levels 1-2 include 150 car bays with Levels 3-7 consisting of commercial A-Grade office space and Level 8 the plant room.
A major feature of the building is the perforated aluminium facade screen which makes the project a standout landmark within the precinct. The façade has a threefold effect – it generates a dynamic effect through the play of light and shadow, solid and void and the layering of folds blur the edges of the building to softens its mass; it provides necessary sun shading which reduces the requirement for mechanical cooling and energy consumption; and it allows for panoramic views of the surrounding area and an abundance of natural light deep into the building, improving the quality of space.
