In mid-2018, Georgiou was awarded the $18.66 million Great Northern Highway – Roy Hill Bridge project by Main Roads WA.

Funded by Roy Hill Iron Ore, the Great Northern Highway – Roy Hill Bridge project involved the construction of a new bridge over the Roy Hill rail line, with works to include a 95-metre-long reinforced concrete box culvert structure to improve drainage and reduce road closures due to flooding.

Construction, which employed 65 at peak, commenced in August 2018 and was completed in February 2019.
