In June, Georgiou took home top honours at the WA Chapter Australian Institute of Building (AIB) Professional Excellence Awards.

DFO Perth took out the Commercial Construction $50 million plus category – its first construction award of the year – whilst Mandurah Traffic Bridge took home its fourth trophy in the Infrastructure category.

Our Liv Apartments project also took to the podium after receiving a High Commendation in the Residential Construction $50 million plus category.

Building General Manager Steve Okill said Georgiou’s success at the awards was indicative of the project teams who worked tirelessly to overcome numerous challenges to ensure the timely completion of their projects on budget.

“All three projects were technically challenging, leaned on Georgiou’s ability to deliver design and construction contracts and were led by some of the best project managers in the business,” Steve explains.

“These awards are about how these projects were built, not what was built so to be recognised across three diverse categories not only showcases the depth of expertise within Georgiou, but our ability to harness innovative solutions and work closely with our clients and consultants to deliver best-for-project outcomes for all parties. We couldn’t be happier with the result.”
